Warehousing
The back space of our highly efficient
handling system is made up of an enormous silo storage
area with a capacity of 160,000 tons. This is used exclusively
for the warehousing of grain and oilseeds. The silo area
is divided up into seven silos with 340 cells. Each cell
has a capacity of between 60 and 3,000 tons.
It hardly needs to be stated that
all the cells are equipped with temperature measurement
systems and are subject to round-the-clock monitoring.
It also goes without saying that we have unrestricted
authorisation from the Bundesanstalt für Landwirtschaft
und Ernährung
(BLE) [Federal Agency for Agriculture and Food]
for the storage of intervention grain.
